Nagendhar Reddy runs the tile business here in Hyderabad. We are located over in the Shyamlal Building in Begum Pet. It’s a busy spot in Tatachary Colony. If you walk into our place, you'll see stacks of tiles everywhere. We deal with all sorts of flooring for houses and offices. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, but that’s the nature of the tile trade. We spend our days helping people pick out what looks good for their homes. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you can see the actual stock. We’ve been in the 500016 area for a good while now. Most of our customers are locals who are renovating or building something new. We just give them the prices and show them what we have available. No high-pressure sales stuff happens here. We just want to move the inventory and keep the business going. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the Hyderabad traffic, which can be a real pain. We try our best to get things out on time though. It’s a family-run sort of vibe. We know the regulars and we’re always around if someone has a question about a specific pattern or material. There is always some heavy lifting to do, but it keeps us in shape. We like helping people finish their homes.
