This office is located in Flat No. 204 at Krishnaveni Heights. The building is situated on C 34&35 in Rukminipuri Colony, which is near A.S. Rao Nagar in the Ecil Post area of Hyderabad. It is a residential apartment complex, so it feels more like a home than a corporate center. The balcony looks out over the colony streets which are usually busy with local traffic and people going to the markets nearby. Inside the flat, we have set up desks and filing cabinets in the main rooms to handle the government work. There is a small kitchen where we make coffee and tea throughout the day. Hyderabad weather is mostly warm, so the ceiling fans stay on pretty much all the time. We deal with various administrative duties and paperwork that comes through the department. It is a quiet place to work, away from the main city noise, though the lift in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour. Visitors usually have to sign in at the security gate downstairs before coming up to the second floor. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside the apartment. Most of our days are spent typing reports or organizing folders. It is a very practical setup that serves its purpose for the staff working here. We just follow the daily list of things to do and keep things running smoothly.
