Executive

I work out of this office at Do-No-6-2-662/2/8 here in Hyderabad. My title is Executive but that just means I handle whatever comes through the door. This part of India is always moving and the noise from the street is something you just get used to. I have a simple desk and a few files that I keep track of every day. It is not a big corporate setup. I am just a person doing a job in a busy city. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is how it is. People come by to ask questions or drop off papers. I try to be helpful and get the work finished on time. The building is tucked away in a spot that can be hard to find if you aren't looking closely. I have been here for a while and I know most of the people on the street. It is a practical way to live. I don't use any fancy language or try to sell anything. I just take care of the Executive work that needs doing. The fan above my desk keeps the air moving when it gets hot. Most days are the same, just steady work and plenty of tea. It is a good enough place to be for someone like me who likes a routine. We just keep things simple and get the tasks done.
