Our office is situated at 1-8-203/2, right near the Venkateshwara Temple in Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad. It’s a bit of a unique spot for a company like Electronic Arts because we are so close to the temple, which gives the whole area a specific kind of energy. The address is 500030 if you’re looking it up. It’s not a flashy tech park or a high-rise. It’s a more traditional building where we’ve set up our workstations. We spend our time here dealing with the technical side of things and keeping our projects moving. You won’t find any bean bags or slide-down fire poles here; it’s just a normal office with desks and plenty of computer monitors. The sound of the bells from the temple is something we hear quite often, which is a nice change from the usual city noise. Most of us live nearby or have a simple commute through Rajendra Nagar. We don’t really go in for corporate polish or big presentations. We just come in, do our jobs, and head home. The office has a very local feel to it, and we like being part of this neighborhood rather than being stuck in a remote industrial zone. It’s a practical, hardworking environment where the focus is on the day-to-day tasks. We keep things simple and try to stay productive in our own quiet way. It is just a bunch of us working on code and files in a regular Hyderabad building.
