Edifice Constructions

We are based out of Yousufguda in Hyderabad, which is a place that never seems to stop moving. Edifice Constructions is what we call ourselves, and we spend most of our time dealing with the grit and grime of the building world. Our office is a simple setup because we would rather be out at the actual construction sites than sitting behind a desk all day. Hyderabad gets incredibly hot in the summer, and the dust from the nearby roads always finds its way inside no matter how much we sweep. We have a few computers and a lot of paper maps of the local areas spread out everywhere. It is a bit disorganized at times, but we have a system that works for us. We don't go in for any of that high-end corporate talk or polished presentations. If someone wants to know about a project, we just show them the photos on our phones or take them to the site. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take our only real breaks. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who know our faces. We have been part of this community for a while and we just keep doing what we do. It’s hard work and the days are long, but seeing something actually get built from the ground up makes it all worth the effort.
