Dlf Laing O 'Rourke(I)Ltd. is based out of House No:37/7 in the LIG part of Kphb Colony. If you know Kukatpally, you know it's a crowded area with a lot of energy. Our office is right there in the middle of it. It’s an older building, nothing like the glass towers you see in Hitech City, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking shipments. The IV Phase area is mostly residential and small businesses, so it feels very local. We have a few desks and a lot of files piled up. Hyderabad weather is usually okay, but the traffic near the colony can be a nightmare in the evenings. We’ve been operating from here for some time now. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s just us working on the projects we have on hand. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out with a cup of coffee. Most of the staff lives nearby, which makes it easier for everyone to get in on time. The address is simple to find once you get into the colony. We handle the local site coordination from here. It gets noisy outside with the vendors and cars, but you get used to it. It’s just a normal workplace where things get handled one by one. No frills, just progress.
