Dlf Laing O Rourke India Ltd has its presence down in Hyderabad, specifically in the A.P.H.B Colony in Gachibowli. This part of the city is always buzzing with new developments and tech companies, but we are tucked away in the colony area. It’s a good spot for us because Gachibowli is central to a lot of the infrastructure projects we are involved with. We don’t have a huge, gleaming skyscraper for an office. Instead, we have a functional space that suits our needs for planning and meeting with contractors. The vibe in our office is pretty down-to-earth. We don't spend money on decor that doesn't help us build better structures. Most of our time is spent looking at spreadsheets and site reports. We have a small team here that knows the local Hyderabad market very well. We’ve seen the city change so much, and it’s interesting to be part of that through our work. We aren't about big promises or flashy marketing brochures. We just try to be honest about what we can do and how long it will take. If you visit us, you’ll probably see a few of us drinking chai and debating the best way to handle a foundation or a steel order. It’s just how we operate day to day in the colony. It's nothing special, but it works for our business and the team.
