Located at 607, B M Road. It’s a busy stretch. Cars and buses are always zooming past. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. The shop is simple. We have some shelves with our stock and a counter where we talk to customers. We deal in various items for the local trade. It’s not a specialized boutique. It’s a practical place. The address is easy to find once you’re on B M Road. We don’t have a big team. Just a few of us who know the business. We open up the shutters around nine every morning. The dust from the road comes in, so we spend the first few minutes cleaning the glass. We don't have some big business plan. We just try to have what people need. If someone asks for something we don’t have, we try to find it for them next time. The walls are a plain color, and we have a few old chairs for guests. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once. But it works. We know most of our regular customers by name. They stop by to chat as much as to buy things. That’s the nice part of being on a main road. You see everyone. We just keep the accounts in order and make sure the place stays running. We don't have air conditioning, so the summer months are quite warm. We just keep the fans on high.
