Parameswari Boutique

Parameswari Boutique is located in Village Tengri Para, which is part of the Gupti Para area. Being in a village means our shop has a very different feel than those in the city. It is a quiet place where life moves a lot slower. We are situated near the local post office, and that is how most people find us if they aren't from around here. The shop is basically a room where we have organized our collection of clothes. We don't have any big glass fronts or fancy decorations. It is a simple setup with some wooden shelves and racks. Most of our customers are people from the village or nearby areas who we have known for a long time. We don't follow a very strict schedule; if we are around, the shop is open. Sometimes we sit outside on the porch and talk to the people passing by. During the monsoon, it can get a bit muddy on the path leading up to us, so things slow down even more. We use that time to fix up the stock or work on new pieces. It is a very straightforward way of doing things. We don't do any advertising, as news usually travels by word of mouth in a place like this. It is just a small, local business where we try to provide what the community needs for their daily life and special occasions.
