Hoogly Modern School

Hoogly Modern School is located on Napith Para Lane, which is just off Debi Park in Hooghly. It’s a quiet little pocket of the town. The school is surrounded by houses and some trees. We have an old building that has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. The rooms are a bit small, but they stay cool enough under the fans. We don't have any big flashy signs out front, just a simple board with the name on it. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we just walk to the school every morning. We spend our time checking notebooks and talking to parents who drop by the office. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere for the most part. There’s a small play area for the younger children, though it gets a bit muddy when it rains. We try to keep the place tidy, but with kids around, there’s always a bit of a mess somewhere. We don't have any complicated plans or big goals. We just want to make sure the lessons are done and the kids are safe until their parents pick them up. If you are coming from Debi Park, you just take the turn into the lane and we are right there. It’s been our second home for a long time now.
