Pearl Caps & Closure

If you head down to the Shree Shyam Complex in Bora Chanditala, you’ll find us. Pearl Caps & Closure is basically a workshop where we spend most of our time around machines and boxes. It gets pretty loud during the day, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the clatter. Chanditala is a busy spot with lots of small businesses tucked into every corner. Our unit isn't huge, but it's packed with everything we need to get the job done. We deal with caps and all sorts of closures, which sounds simple enough until you see how much goes into it. Most of the staff live close by, so there’s a lot of local talk during the lunch breaks. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. The complex can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We've got stacks of materials everywhere and the smell of plastic and metal is just part of the air here. It's not a place for shiny shoes. We wear old clothes because things get messy. Nobody is trying to impress anyone with big titles. We just make sure the orders are packed up and ready for the trucks. It's a steady rhythm of working and packing. We’ve been at this for some time now and we know the quirks of our machinery by heart. We just keep our heads down and work until the day is over.
