Ghosh Travels

Ghosh Travels is based right here in Pandua. It is a small town, and everyone seems to know everyone else who lives on this side of the tracks. We started with just a couple of older vehicles and a small space to keep them parked. Now we have a few more, but it still feels like a small family thing. The office is just a room with a wooden table, a telephone, and a few stools for the drivers. Pandua can get quite dusty in the summer months, so we are always cleaning the dashboard and windows of the cars. We don't have any big corporate rules or anything like that. If someone needs a ride to the station or a bus for a wedding, they just come by or send a message. My brother helps with the driving when the regular guys are tired. We know these roads around West Bengal pretty well by now. The potholes and the shortcuts through the villages are all very familiar to us. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when the sun goes down and it’s not too hot. We listen to the radio and wait for the drivers to check in for the night. It isn't a glamorous life, but it works for us. We don't use big words or try to act like we are a huge company. We are just a local travel setup in Pandua. People know where to find us if they need to get somewhere.
