Startek Automotive Enterprises

Startek Automotive Enterprises is in Shop Number 3, inside the Muchandi Compound. We are on Dharward Road, right across from where Roopali Talkies used to be. The compound is an old place with a lot of character and a bit of a leaky roof when it rains hard. We have shelves packed with all sorts of automotive parts, from small bolts to larger engine components. It is hard to keep everything organized, but I usually know where things are if I look long enough. The floor is concrete and always feels a bit cold. We get a lot of people coming in who are frustrated because their cars broke down nearby. We just try to find them the part they need so they can get back on the road. The traffic on Dharward Road is pretty constant, so there is always a hum of engines in the background. We have a small radio that plays local songs, but half the time it is just static. It is a small shop, and the light isn't the best, so we use a torch to see the numbers on the boxes. It is just a regular day-to-day business where we deal with grease, metal, and lots of different people looking for things they can't find elsewhere. Our neighbors in the compound are mostly quiet, except for the guy who runs the metal shop next door. He hammers a lot in the afternoon. Sometimes we share a snack together when the work slows down. It is just how it is around here.
