We are located right at Shanbhag Circle, which most people around here know well. It’s a busy spot on College Road. Our office is in Shanbhag Towers. It’s a solid building, though the stairs can be a bit much if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Dealing with minerals means a lot of paperwork and phone calls to the sites. It isn’t always glamorous. We spend a lot of time looking at logistics and worrying about transport schedules. The traffic outside the circle is usually pretty loud, especially during the morning rush when the students are heading to college. You can hear the horns honking from our windows. We’ve been based here for some time now. It’s a convenient spot because everything is close by. We have a small team, mostly local people who’ve been with us for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the business running and making sure the orders go out on time. Sometimes the samples come in and the office gets a bit dusty from the rocks and ores. We just wipe it down and keep going. Lunch breaks are usually quick, maybe a tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a simple routine. We know the other shop owners around the tower. It feels like a little community even with all the cars passing by. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the day is done. It's not a bad way to spend the week.
