Renuka Metal Fabs

Our workshop is located on the P. B. Road Bypass, right near the Noorani Plot and Nekar Nagar. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always dust and the sound of trucks passing by. We do metal fabrication, which basically means we spend our days welding, cutting, and grinding steel. The shop is filled with the smell of hot metal and sparks flying everywhere. We make things like gates, window frames, and basic structures for houses. It’s a messy place. There are scrap pieces of iron scattered in the corners and the workbenches are scarred from years of use. We don't have a fancy office to sit in. If someone wants to talk about a job, we just pull up a plastic chair in the middle of the shop. My hands are usually black with soot and oil, and that’s just part of the trade. We’ve been at this location for quite a while now. The neighbors know us by the sound of the hammers. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, but we just keep at it. We don't do much in the way of sales talk. People see the work we’ve done for other houses in the area and they come to us. It’s a straightforward business. We just try to get the welding done right so the gates don't sag later on. That's about all there is to it. We keep working until the sun goes down and then we lock up.
