The Nmr Curie Centre Of Oncology is over on T.B. Road in Despande Nagar. We are right near the Revankar Kalyana Mantappa, which is a landmark everyone knows. It’s a bit of a contrast, having a wedding hall so close to a place where we deal with serious health issues like oncology. The atmosphere here is usually quite quiet and somber. Patients and their families spend a lot of time in our waiting rooms, often looking worried or tired. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many treatments happening, it can get hectic. Our nurses are the ones who really keep things going, moving from room to room all day long. The building itself is straightforward, with clear signs, though some people still get lost. We don’t have any flashy advertisements or polished brochures. People come here because they need help, and we provide the space for that. The staff rooms are tucked away in the back where we can have a quiet moment. Parking can be tough when there is a big event at the Kalyana Mantappa next door. We’ve been here for a while and the neighborhood knows us as the place on the corner. Every day brings a new set of challenges, and we just handle them one by one.
