We are out in the 3rd Phase of the Dod Ballapur Industrial Area. It’s quite a way out near Raghunatah Pura Village in Kasba Hubli. Musashi Auto Parts is a big place compared to some of the other shops around, but it still feels like a regular workplace once you’re inside. There are lots of machines and people in uniforms moving around. The shift changes are when it gets really busy around here. We spend our time making parts for cars and vehicles. It’s noisy, and there’s always the smell of metal and oil in the air. That’s just the nature of the industrial area. We have been here for a good while, and the village nearby has grown quite a bit since we started. Most of the folks working here live close by. It’s a long day on the floor, but we have our breaks and a chance to sit down. The trucks come and go all day long at the loading docks. We don’t really do much else besides focus on the parts we’re supposed to be making. It’s a solid job for most of us. You can see the factory from the main road if you’re driving through Kasba Hubli. It’s just a large building with a lot of activity going on inside twenty-four hours a day. We just keep the lines moving and get things packed up.
