Ladawa Publisher

You can find us at No 47 on the 2nd floor of the Eurekha Center on Kopikkar Road. It’s a busy building, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again, which happens more than we’d like. Here at Ladawa Publisher, we’ve got a fairly simple setup. The office has a few large tables for sorting through pages and some old metal cabinets for filing everything away. We spend a lot of time talking to local writers and trying to get their work into print. It’s not a glamorous job, and the office often smells like old paper and ink. The windows look out over the street, so we see all the commuters going by every day. We’ve been here long enough that the carpet is a bit worn out in front of the main desk. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us middle-aged folks working on a computer or checking a print proof. We try to keep things moving along, but sometimes the printing presses we use elsewhere have delays, and we have to explain that to our authors. It’s just the way it goes in this business. We don't use big words or try to act like a huge corporation. We’re just a small team in a central building trying to do our work as best as we can.
