General Hydraulics Spaires

General Hydraulics Spaires is located at No 19 in the Shalimath Building. We are part of the Padma Housing Society area, which is situated right opposite the Kirlot Ker Electrical Company on Airport Road. It’s a very specific spot to find, but once you locate the electrical company, we are right there across the way. The shop is filled with all sorts of hydraulic spares. It can get a bit oily and metallic smelling in here sometimes, but that’s just the nature of this kind of business. We have bins full of different bolts, seals, and hoses. Most of the time, people come in looking for a very specific part that they just can't find anywhere else. We spend a lot of our time digging through the stock in the Shalimath Building to find exactly what they need for their machinery. Airport Road is always busy with traffic, so it can be quite noisy outside the front door. We’ve got shelves stacked high with various boxes. It might look a bit cluttered to an outsider who doesn't know the place, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Being near Padma Housing Society means we have a lot of local people dropping by to ask questions. We don't do anything fancy like digital catalogs; we just know our parts and our business. It's a very hands-on kind of place. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. It's just a regular shop.
