Doddamani Engineering Works

So, we’ve been here at Doddamani Engineering Works for a while now. If you’re coming from Old Hubli, you know the spot near the bridge in Kamarsall. It gets pretty loud around here with the machines running all day. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend most of our mornings just getting the tools ready and looking at whatever projects came in the day before. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where things get fixed or made. There’s grease on the floor and the walls could probably use some paint, but the work gets done. People usually find us because they’re passing by the bridge and see the sign. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just folks telling their neighbors about us. It's a lot of metal work, welding, and grinding. The tea guy comes by around ten and that’s when we take a short break. It’s a simple life here in Old Hubli. We know the other shop owners around Kamarsall too. Sometimes we borrow a tool or help someone out if their truck is stuck. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. There isn't much more to it than that. We keep the doors open and see who walks in with a problem that needs a wrench or a weld. It's home for us, anyway. We just keep at it day after day.
