Paramveer Electric Company is right in the middle of the hustle at Ullagadi Oni in the Butter Market. If you’ve ever been to Butter Market, you know how crowded and loud it can get. It’s a traditional market area, and we fit right in with the other shops. We deal with all sorts of electric items. The shop is narrow and the walls are lined with boxes from the floor to the ceiling. We have to use a ladder sometimes to get stuff down from the top shelves. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two customers come in at once. The street outside is always full of people, carts, and the occasional scooter trying to get through. There’s a constant hum of voices and activity. We open early because the market starts early. Most of our day is spent helping people find the right wire or switch. We don't have a fancy computer system; it’s mostly manual work and knowing where everything is kept by heart. The air is thick with the smells of the market, which is just part of being here.
