Our place, Ayurveda Mahavidayalaya And Hospital, is located in Heggeri, right near the Indi Petrol Pump. It’s a pretty busy area because of the pump and the traffic coming through. Since it's both a college and a hospital, there are always young people around learning the ropes. It makes the atmosphere a bit more active than your usual clinic. The building is large but it’s seen better days. We have some cracked tiles here and there, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but the rooms where we see patients are kept tidy. You can hear the students talking in the halls between their classes. We spend a lot of time teaching them how to identify different herbs and how to mix the medicines properly. On the hospital side, we have beds for people who need to stay for a longer treatment. It’s not a quiet, fancy place by any means. You can hear the sounds of the town and the petrol pump all day long. We don’t have a big budget for decorations, so we just focus on the treatments and making sure we have enough supplies. Most of us have been working here for years, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we get the work done.
