Arihant Driving School

We’ve been at Shop No. 1 on Chetna College Road for some time now. It’s a busy spot in Vidyanagar, especially with the college right there. Most days start early when the roads are still a bit quiet, but that doesn't last long once the students start coming around. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We spend most of the time out in the cars anyway. Teaching people to drive in Hubli traffic is something else. You have to be patient because people don't always follow the lanes like they should. We have the usual cars you see around, nothing fancy. People come in from Vidyanagar and the nearby areas because they know where we are, right near the college. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy with all the bikes going by, but you get used to it. We keep our schedules on the wall and try to make sure the cars are ready for the next person. It’s a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and making sure nobody hits anything. To be honest, some days are long, especially when it’s hot outside, but it’s what we do. We’ve seen a lot of people go from being scared of the steering wheel to actually getting their license. It’s just a regular local place, really. We’re usually there from morning until the sun goes down, just handling the paperwork and the driving bits.
