Krishna Paper & Board

You can find Krishna Paper & Board right on Veerapur Road, inside the Annagari Building. It’s easy to spot because we are directly opposite the Hanuman Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells in the morning when we’re just opening up. The place is mostly filled with stacks of paper and heavy boards. It smells like cardboard and dust in here, which is what you’d expect from a place like this. We handle a lot of loading and unloading. Trucks come by frequently, and we have to move things quickly so we don’t block the road. The building itself is old and has a lot of character. We don’t have air conditioning, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. Sometimes the monkeys from the temple area come by to see if we left any food out. It’s a busy spot. We spend a lot of time measuring sizes and checking the weight of the bundles. It’s physical work. We aren't sitting at computers all day. Our hands usually have a bit of ink or paper dust on them by lunchtime. We’ve been at this Veerapur Road location for quite a while. Most of the people around here know the Annagari Building. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the stacks don’t fall over. It’s a simple life, dealing with paper and boards every single day until the sun goes down.
