Being over at Abdiel India Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers means we are always around the smell of the lab and the sound of machines. Our place is in the Hosmani Building, tucked right behind Hotel Woodland in the Keshwapur area. It is a bit hidden if you don’t know where to look, but that actually works out fine for us since we are more focused on the manufacturing side of things rather than walk-in customers. The building is older, and we have been in this spot for a good bit of time now. Every morning starts with checking the equipment and making sure the staff is ready for whatever batch we are working on that day. It gets pretty loud once everything is running, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other over the humming of the fans. We deal with a lot of raw materials and packaging, so there are always crates sitting around in the hallways waiting to be moved. It’s hard work, and by the end of the shift, we are usually pretty tired and ready to head home. Keshwapur is a busy part of town, so even behind the hotel, you can hear the traffic and the life of the city going on outside our walls. We just keep our heads down and focus on the production schedules to make sure we don't fall behind. It's a simple operation, really, just people working hard to make things right.
