You can find us right across from the Head Post Office. Urban Hybrid Farm Ltd. is where we spend most of our days, trying to figure out the best ways to grow things in this area. It’s a bit of an interesting setup since we're right in the middle of town. You wouldn’t really expect a farm-related business here, but it works for us. We deal with plants and farming methods that fit into smaller spaces. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, or a batch doesn't turn out quite how we wanted, but that's just part of the job. We’re not a big corporate office; it’s mostly just us working with what we have. People stop by when they’re heading to the post office and ask what we’re up to. We try to keep it simple and honest. Growing stuff is hard work, and there are always things to learn. We've got some dirt on the floor and some tools leaning against the walls most of the time. It’s a practical place, really. We don’t have fancy brochures or a big sales pitch. If you want to talk about hybrid farming or see how we do things, we're usually around. It’s a bit of a mix between old-school growing and newer ideas. We just take it one day at a time here and hope for the best with our crops. It's rewarding even when it is tough.
