Samarth Clinic

Our clinic, Samarth Clinic, is over in Navanagar. We are situated right near the Cancer Hospital, which is the main landmark everyone uses to find us. It’s a busy area with a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. The space we have is simple and doesn't have any extra trimmings. We have a front area and a small consultation room in the back. I like keeping things uncomplicated. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just a few charts and a calendar that I usually forget to flip. The stools in the exam room are a bit old, but they serve their purpose just fine. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are locals from Navanagar, and others are just passing through the area because of the hospital nearby. We do our best to see everyone as quickly as we can, though some days are slower than others. My desk is usually covered in notebooks because I still like writing everything down by hand. It feels more real than typing into a computer all day. The door sticks a little in the rainy season, but you just have to give it a good push to get inside. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking here. We are just providing a place for people to get checked when they aren't feeling well. It’s honest work and we enjoy being part of the community.
