Our business, N Ramlingam Co, is located in the Navanagar area of Hubli. We are specifically at MIG 287, S J Gangannavar. It’s a standard residential-commercial mix area, which makes for a nice working environment. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now. We aren't a massive firm with a lot of departments. It’s just a small team of us who handle the day-to-day trading and coordination. The office is very simple, with just the essential furniture and a lot of record books. We don't believe in spending a lot on decorations or flashy office supplies. We find that most of our clients in Hubli appreciate a straightforward approach anyway. Most of our business comes through long-standing relationships we’ve built over the years. We don't even have a sign that’s very big; most people just know where we are. We spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure our deliveries are on schedule. The pace of work is steady, and we like it that way. Hubli is a good city for this kind of work because everyone knows everyone else. We often have people dropping by just to say hello or ask a quick question. We don't have a formal lobby, so we just pull up a chair for them. It is a very traditional, local way of doing things that has kept us going for a long time.
