Our main spot is Godown No.3, located right in the APMC yard over in Hamord. If you have ever spent any time in an APMC market, you know it is definitely not a place for being fancy or staying clean. It is all about the heavy movement of goods and getting things where they need to go. Mansons International is right in the thick of all that daily activity. The yard is almost always muddy when it rains, and the constant sound of heavy trucks reversing is something we hear from morning until night. We spend the majority of our time inside the warehouse, checking our stock levels and making sure the loading is being done correctly. It involves a lot of physical labor, and our office is really just a small corner with a battered old desk and a few chairs that have seen better days. We do not have any time for polished business presentations or fancy marketing talk. We just need to ensure that the inventory moves out on schedule every single day. Sometimes the labor crew is short-handed, and we have to jump in and help move the heavy crates ourselves to keep things moving. It can be a bit chaotic at times, but there is a certain rhythm to the market life that we have grown to like. We just want to get the day’s work done and make sure the accounts are square at the end of the month.
