Accounts & Stores Murthy

This is the place where G.S.N. Murthy works on accounts and manages the stores. We are located at House Number 64 in Bhuwaneshwari Nagar. It’s a well-known spot because we’re right near the Bus Ramesh-Bhavan in Keshawapur. Hubli is a busy city and this part of the Dharwad District always has something going on. The office isn't very big, but it holds everything we need for the day-to-day work. Dealing with both accounts and stores means there is never a dull moment. One minute I’m looking at invoices and the next I’m checking on stock. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the bus traffic nearby. The building is an old one, a bit of a landmark for those who live around here. We’ve been here for years. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings. It’s just a solid brick place with high ceilings. I spend a lot of time drinking tea and going through ledgers. The neighbors are good people. Sometimes the noise from the bus stand is a lot, but you get used to it after a week. It’s a practical setup. No one wears a suit here. We just get the work done and go home. If you’re in Keshawapur, you’ve probably walked past our door a dozen times. It's a simple life working in Hubli. I keep the keys with me all the time.
