Fiem Industries Ltd

Fiem Industries Ltd is located out on Plot O 1915 in the Rai Industrial Estate Phase-5. It is a long way from the city, and the roads can be a bit rough depending on the season. The estate is huge, so you have to keep an eye out for the plot numbers or you will get lost. It is a very different vibe from a small shop in the city. There are big trucks moving in and out all day and the sounds of heavy machinery never really stop. Most of the staff comes in on buses or bikes early in the morning. We have a lot of space here, which is good because the equipment is quite large. The floors are painted grey and we try to keep them clean, though it’s hard with so many people moving around. There is a canteen where everyone gathers for breaks. In the winter, it gets quite cold in the large open areas, so we wear extra layers under our work clothes. The work is steady and there is always something to be moved or checked. We have a rhythm here that everyone follows. It is not a place for sitting around. People are always busy with their tasks. Even when it rains, the work goes on inside the big sheds. It is just a massive industrial site where things get built every single day through a lot of hard effort and coordination.
