Vasan Eye Care Hospital

Vasan Eye Care Hospital is located at Ambika Point, number 27, right on Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Road. It’s a busy street with a lot of traffic and people passing by all day long. We’ve been here for some time now, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years. Inside, we keep things pretty simple and functional. We have the rooms for eye exams and the waiting area for families. People come in when they realize they are squinting at their phones or can't see the street signs as clearly as they used to. We do the tests, figure out the prescription, and help them out. It’s not a complicated process, but it takes time to get it right and make sure they are comfortable. Our team is just a few regular people who happen to know a lot about eyes. We talk to the patients, hear about their day, and try to make the visit as easy as possible for them. The building at Ambika Point is a good spot because it’s easy for people to describe to their friends. "Just go to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Road," they usually say. We see a lot of the same faces over the years, which is nice. It’s good to have that connection with the people in the community. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just open up the doors in the morning, see the patients, and close up at night. It’s just how we work and it suits us just fine.
