Our office is in Liluah, right on the 1st floor of 258 G T Road. Howrah is always moving, and being on this main road means we hear the trucks and buses all day long. Fl-102 isn't a very big space, but it’s enough for the five or six of us who work here. We mostly handle trade and commerce stuff, which involves a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep and the lighting in the hallway isn't great. We spend our time checking prices and talking to suppliers. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. There’s always a pile of newspapers in the corner that we haven't gotten around to throwing out. We don't really have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door. Most of our business comes from people who already know where we are. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. The neighborhood is full of shops and warehouses, so it feels right for what we do. Lunch is usually something brought from home or picked up from the stall downstairs. We don't do anything too fancy here. It's just a regular office where we try to keep the books balanced and the customers happy. Dealing with all the paperwork can be a bit much sometimes, but we just take it one pile at a time.
