Tulsi Stores

Tulsi Stores is located right on North Mill Road in Radhanagar, Bauria. Like the other shops in this part of Howrah, we deal with the everyday needs of the people living around here. The shop is tucked away in a spot that sees a lot of foot traffic from the workers at the mill. It’s a small, practical space. We don’t have much room for anything that isn't essential. You’ll see bags of grains, cleaning supplies, and some basic snacks piled up. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and the counter. We don't have a big sign or any fancy lights outside. People know us by name and they know we’ve been here for years. It’s the kind of shop where you can stop for a quick chat while you buy your groceries. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just keep the shelves filled with the brands that people in Bauria actually use. The rhythm of the day depends on the mill shifts. When they let out, we get a big rush of people. Then it gets quiet again and we can catch up on our inventory. It’s just a normal way of living and working. We are just glad to be a place where the neighbors can get what they need without any fuss.
