You can find us on Bauria Stn Road, specifically in the Burikhali(East) area of Howrah. We are pretty close to the Bauria Girls High School, which is usually how we tell people where to turn. The 711310 area is a bit of a mix of homes and businesses. Our yard is usually full of activity from early morning. It’s not a quiet place because there’s always a truck backing up or someone moving pallets around. We have a small office where we handle the billing and the tracking, but most of the action happens outside. The weather here near the river can get pretty damp, which makes the work a bit harder during the monsoon season. We just put on our boots and keep going. We don’t have any polished floors or expensive art on the walls. It’s just a place of work. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh when things go right, and we definitely grumble when there’s a delay. It’s a practical life. We make sure the goods are handled properly and that the drivers have their papers before they head out. It’s what we do every day without making a big fuss about it. We just keep our heads down and worry about the next shipment that’s coming in through the gates. It keeps us on our toes and the days stay fairly interesting.
