We’ve been here at 141/20/1 Carry Road in Howrah for a while now. It's a busy spot, but we like it. Working with cement means we deal with a lot of heavy lifting and dust, but it’s just part of the day. Most people around here just call us ACC. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just show up every morning and get things done. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on the road, which is a bit of a headache for everyone, but we try to keep things moving as fast as we can. It’s a lot of coordination between the guys in the yard and the office. We have people coming in asking about bags for their home repairs or bigger projects happening nearby. We just point them to the right pile. It’s mostly just making sure the inventory is right and the orders go out to where they need to be in the city. The office isn't anything special, just a place to sit and do the paperwork while the real work happens outside. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are longer than others, especially when the weather isn't helping us much. But it’s a living. We know the regulars who stop by, and they know us. That's pretty much how it goes down here on Carry Road. We don't have much else to say except that we're open most days and keep at it.
