Sushma Hindi Tutorial Centre

Sushma Hindi Tutorial Centre is located on the third floor of the building at 156 Mahendra Bhattacharjee Road. We are in Block B, specifically room 306, in Howrah. Being near Kedarnath School makes it easy for a lot of the local students to find us after their regular classes end. I’ve been teaching Hindi here for quite some time now. It’s a quiet space mostly, tucked away from the main noise of the street. Teaching a language like Hindi to kids who use English or Bengali more often takes some patience. We sit together and practice the grammar and the writing. The third floor walk-up keeps us a bit active, I suppose. The room isn't huge but it fits the small groups we take in. I prefer it that way so I can actually hear what everyone is saying and correct their pronunciation. Sometimes we spend the whole hour just on one poem or a difficult set of verbs. It’s just how learning goes. People in Howrah know this area well, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture for the families who want their children to do better in their language papers. We don't have any fancy computer labs or anything like that. Just books, notebooks, and pens. It’s old-fashioned but it works for the students who actually want to learn. We try to keep things steady and predictable for them so they know what to expect when they walk through the door.
