Sukhamay Trading Co. Ltd. is based at No. 51/1 on L Road in Belgachia. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of narrow streets and old buildings. Our place fits right in. It’s a trading house, so we are always dealing with incoming and outgoing goods. The warehouse floor is usually a bit of a mess with crates and packing materials, but we know where everything is. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually have to shout to get someone's attention over the sound of the fans. We’ve been here in Belgachia for a long time. The building has its quirks, like the door that sticks in the humidity and the flickering light in the hallway. We don't mind it much. Our day starts early with checking the lists and seeing what needs to be moved out. We trade in various industrial items and raw materials. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We have a small team, and most of us have been here for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. We just know the routine. Sometimes the trucks get stuck on L Road. It's very tight there, which causes a bit of a headache for everyone. But that’s just life in this part of town. We keep it simple and just focus on the trade and making sure the inventory moves out to our customers on time.
