Soniya Clinic

Soniya Clinic is situated in Fortgloster, Bauria, right on Station Road in Howrah. It is a busy little corner of the world. Since we are on Station Road, we get a lot of people who are just getting off the train or heading to work. The clinic is a simple setup. We have a small waiting area that often gets full pretty quickly. It is not a place with a lot of fancy decorations. We just have the essentials for seeing patients and giving out basic medical advice. Bauria is a hardworking area, and the people who come in are usually in a hurry or worried about missing their shift. I spend my day going through appointments and talking to folks from the neighborhood. It is a lot of common ailments and seasonal stuff like coughs and colds. The building is older, and you can hear the bustle of the street outside all day long. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage with what we have. It is just a regular part of life here. We try to be helpful and get through the queue as fast as possible without rushing anyone too much. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. It is a local clinic for local people, and that is about it. We close up when the last patient is taken care of.
