Our main setup for Sm Flow & Controls (P) Ltd is actually linked to Kolkata, but you’ll find our daily operations happening at Hizlock in Bagnan, Howrah. We share the space with P.K. Jyoti. It’s a bit of a journey from the center of Kolkata out to Howrah, but that’s where the industrial heart of the area is. Dealing with flow and controls means we handle things like valves and machinery parts that keep liquids moving. The workshop can get pretty loud and greasy, which is exactly how it should be when you're working with hardware. Most of us stay on the floor checking parts or packing orders rather than sitting in a fancy air-conditioned office. Howrah is known for this kind of work, and we are proud to be part of that tradition. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of Bagnan, but we always find a way to keep things moving. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished image. Knowing our valves and how to fix things when they break is what matters to us. It's a busy, dusty life, but it's what we know.
