Our place is at 5/1/3 Nandalal Mukharjee Lane in Howrah. It’s an old part of the city, and the lanes can be a bit narrow to navigate sometimes. We handle a mix of energy-related work and logistics. It sounds more complicated than it really is. Mostly, we are just managing the movement of materials and keeping track of the supply chain. The office feels lived-in. We have old wooden desks and stacks of papers that we really should organize better. You can hear the sounds of Howrah right outside the windows—the rickshaws, the people, the general noise of the street. It’s a hardworking atmosphere here. We don’t have a lot of time for formalities. Most of the staff has been together for years, so we just get on with it. Sometimes we’re dealing with fuel logistics, other times it’s just general moving of goods. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the trucks are where they need to be. We don’t use any big buzzwords or fancy software that no one understands. We use what works and keep the communication direct with everyone we work with. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when the weather is bad and the roads are flooded, but we stay open and keep things moving. It’s just how we do things here on Nandalal Mukharjee Lane.
