We are located at 86 Ns Sarani Bye Lane in Bally Ghosh Para, which is in the Howrah district. Simplex Infrastructure Ltd has had this spot for some time. It is a bit of a maze to get here if you aren't from around Bally. The area is quite industrial and busy. Our office is right in the middle of it all. It is a plain building with nothing special about the architecture. Inside, it is just as simple. We have desks, some old chairs, and a lot of technical manuals. The noise from the street is pretty constant, but you stop noticing it after a week or two. We work on various infrastructure tasks, mostly focusing on the engineering and supply side from this location. It is not a place for meetings with fancy clients. It is a place where we figure out how to get things built. The staff here is local, and we usually speak a mix of Bengali and English. We aren't big on corporate rules or formal dress codes. Most of us just wear what is comfortable for a long day of work. It is an honest, hardworking environment. We don't have a website person here or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just handle the day-to-day grind of construction and logistics in Howrah. The office cat usually hangs around the entrance looking for scraps. We keep the main gate open during the day so the breeze can come through the hallway. It’s a very unpretentious place to earn a living and we like it that way.
