Shristi Coaching Centre

Shristi Coaching Centre is tucked away on Gopal Chandra Mukherjee Lane in Howrah. It’s one of those narrow streets where everyone knows everyone. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time. It’s not a large or modern facility, just a few rooms with enough benches for the students who come by after their school finishes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fans make a bit of a humming noise, but it’s a good place for learning. We focus on the subjects that kids usually find the hardest. There’s no magic trick to it; we just sit down with the textbooks and go over the lessons until the students understand. Sometimes we stay late if someone is really struggling with a topic. The lane outside can be a bit busy with people walking by, but inside we try to keep things focused. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most of our students come to us because their older siblings or friends did. It’s a local place run by people who live nearby. We just want to make sure the kids in Howrah have a bit of extra support when they need it. It’s regular, everyday work, and we are happy to keep doing it as long as there are students who need help with their studies.
