Shree Maa Stores

We’ve been at 61, N S Road for a good while now. Most people around Kadamtala know the spot since it's been there forever. It is just a regular shop where we keep the things folks need daily. Nothing fancy about the place, really. We open up early, get the shutters up, and start the day before the traffic gets too bad. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when everyone is out doing their errands. Howrah can be busy, and this road is no different from the rest of the town. We try to keep the shelves stocked with the usual groceries and household items people ask for. If someone wants something we don't have, we usually try to get it in by the next week or so. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll see the same faces behind the counter most days. We know many of our customers by name since they live just a few streets away from us. The shop isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s a lot of old wooden shelves and boxes piled up in the corners, but we know where everything is kept. People stop by for a quick chat while they pick up their rice or soap. It’s just how things go here in Howrah. We don't have a website or any of that. Just the physical store on N S Road.
