Shree Cement Limited. Kolkata Corporate

We are based in the Purba Paschim Apartment on the ground floor, which is right on Andul Road in the Shibpur area of Howrah. Being near the DVC office makes it pretty easy for people to find us if they are in the neighborhood. Even though this is the Kolkata corporate side of Shree Cement Limited, our daily vibe is much more like a regular local office. We are tucked away in Danesh Seikh Lane, and it feels like a real part of the community here. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things for the company. There are always people coming in with papers, and we spend a lot of time on our computers making sure everything is filed right. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in fancy suits all the time. We are just regular workers trying to make sure the cement business runs smoothly in this region. The apartment building is a nice place to work from, and having the ground floor means we see a lot of what’s happening on the street. It’s a busy part of Howrah, especially with the traffic on Andul Road, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the horns and the people walking by. We just do our work, chat with the visitors, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a steady rhythm that we have been following for quite a while now. We don't need things to be perfect, just functional and honest for the folks we serve.
