Shee Clinic

Shee Clinic is right here in Amta, Howrah, specifically on Station Road. Being near the station means there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise from the trains and people passing by. It is a very local spot. We have been serving the people around Amta for a good while. The clinic itself is modest. It is just a few rooms where we see patients who come in from the surrounding villages. It gets quite crowded on market days. The furniture is old but it works fine for what we need. We do not have a huge staff, just enough to manage the daily flow of people. Most of the time, I am busy listening to someone describe their symptoms while the ceiling fan hums overhead. It gets humid here in Howrah, and the clinic can feel a bit stuffy in the afternoons. We handle a bit of everything, from fevers to minor injuries. People know they can just walk in and we will get to them eventually. It is a very down-to-earth environment. There are no fancy uniforms or high-tech screens everywhere. Just a doctor, some basic supplies, and a lot of people who need a bit of help. We stay open until the evening usually. It is just the way things go at a station road clinic. We are part of the landscape here in Amta and we see a lot of life every day.
