Shapoorji Paloonji & Co.Ltd.

Our place is over at 15/1 Balai Mistry Lane in Howrah. It’s near the Botanical Garden, which is a good way to find us if you’re lost. Working for Shapoorji Paloonji & Co.Ltd. at this location has its own quirks. The lane is narrow, so you have to be careful when you're driving in or walking past. We’ve been in this part of Howrah for a while now. The office is an old-style building, nothing like those glass towers you see in the movies. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks with a lot of papers moving around. We have a small area where we keep our boots and gear for when we go out to the sites. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The humidity in Howrah can be tough, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, we just stand around a table and talk about what needs to be finished. The local tea shop is where we spend our breaks, chatting about the weather or the local football scores. It's a decent spot to work from. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor or the furniture. We just want to make sure the work is done right and the projects stay on track. It feels like home to most of us by now, despite the crowded lane and the heat.
