Sebayan Doctor Chembar

Sebayan Doctor Chembar is located right on the Main Road in Amta, over in the Saha Para neighborhood. We’ve been part of this Howrah community for quite a while now. The 711401 area is where we live and work. Our chamber is just a small room off the busy road. It’s not a fancy clinic with air conditioning or anything like that. We have a ceiling fan that works most of the time and some simple chairs for anyone waiting. Being on the Main Road means we see everyone passing by. It’s a convenient location for people coming from different parts of Amta. We don’t spend money on marketing or polished brochures. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are. Usually, there’s a bit of a wait because we take our time with everyone. The atmosphere is very casual. Sometimes people just pop their heads in to say hello while they are out doing their shopping in Saha Para. We keep our records in big notebooks and try to stay as organized as possible. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up in this neighborhood and now they bring their own children to see us. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. We’re just local people helping our neighbors here in Howrah. It’s a simple life and a simple business, but it works for us.
