Our business is located at No. 61 on Malipach Ghora Street in the Ghusuri area of Howrah. Even though we are a private limited company, we are basically just a local grocery shop for the neighborhood. We focus on the things people use in their kitchens every day. We have large bags of rice, different kinds of lentils, and all the common spices. The street where we are located is usually very busy with people and rickshaws. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the people who live around Malipach Ghora Street quite well. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We don't sit in an office. We are mostly out there moving sacks of grain or weighing out items for customers. It’s a lot of hard work and we often go home tired. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s just a practical space where we keep our goods. We try to keep everything as organized as we can, but it’s hard when new deliveries arrive and take up all the floor space. We deal with many different suppliers to get what we need. We don’t spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here and they come in when they need something. It’s a simple operation and we just try to do our best every day to keep the shelves stocked and the customers in Howrah happy.
