Sarda Study Centre is located at 112 Bazal Para Lane in Salkia. Howrah is a crowded place, and our lane is no different. It is one of those narrow streets where you have to be careful when walking. The building we are in is tucked away among the houses and small shops. We have been here in this neighborhood for a long time. Inside, the rooms are filled with wooden benches that have been there since we opened. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they live just a few streets away. The air can get a bit stuffy in the humid months, so we keep the windows open even if it means some noise from the lane comes in. We see the same faces every day. The students come in, put their bags down, and get to work. We don't do anything fancy here. It is just about sitting down with the books and making sure the kids understand what they are supposed to be learning. Sometimes we have to move the desks around to fit everyone in during the busy sessions. The lane is usually quiet in the mornings but gets very lively by the time the kids arrive in the afternoon. We stay until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It’s a small, local setup and that’s just how we like to run things for the students.
